Andy Pidsley - Managing Director

Andy has a lifetime of interest in electronics, which started by taking many things apart as a child! This progressed to building equipment from scratch, an electrical apprenticeship and a BTEC electronics course.

He has been involved operating church sound equipment for over 30 years, and started APi Communications in 2003 after 14 years in the AV industry. He is married to Bryoni, has three children and is also on the leadership team of a local church where he is also involved in leading worship. Contact Andy here

Bryoni Pidsley - Financial Director

Bryoni is the wife of the MD, and studied Maths at Exeter University. She overseas the finances of the company, but wears other hats as required. She has a background in IT software working for local government; this includes working on a help desk, training staff and producing database systems. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, relaxing holidays in the family motorhome(preferably near a beach), When she has a break from being Mum to three children, she also enjoys sewing, plays the violin and the piano. Andrew Dunn - Project Engineer

Andrew found his element when, aged 14,  he started running charity discos for his school. Upon leaving he qualified for a BTEC in Electronics and joined a small specialist firm designing and building bespoke electronics. Subsequently he worked for a fire alarm company, building, testing and commissioning fire alarm panels and systems, rising to become their I.T. Manager before joining APi Communications during 2009 where he ably demonstrates his vast knowledge of both computer hardware and software. He is a devoted father to his two sons. He occupies his spare time practising music within worship and studying software problems. He is the creator of this website! Contact Andrew here

Steve Capper - Project Engineer

Steve is City and Guilds qualified in electronic diagnosis and was a senior technician with Granada TV Rental before spending six years running his own business within the electronics servicing industry. It was in 1999 that he joined Andy Pidsley in working within the audio-visual sphere, a relationship that continues to the present day, thus Steve can demonstrate extensive knowledge of customer service, fault diagnosis and equipment installation. He is a family man with three children and enjoys walking and cycling during his leisure time. Contact Steve here

Henry Weaver - Trainee Engineer

Henry joined APi Communications in January 2012 and is studying the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology. He likes understanding how things work and is fascinated by design and inventions. He enjoys applying himself to the practical installation of equipment to achieve aesthetically pleasing results.

In 2009 Henry graduated with a degree in Music, taking modules in film, composition and performance. He has a strong interest in Music Technology, teaches saxophone and also composes music. Before working with APi he wrote Economics and Business Studies exams and worked as a jeweller and an estate agent.  In his spare time he enjoys cycling, walking, travelling and being a handyman. Alison Flack - Marketing Officer

Alison graduated with a degree in Tourism Studies, before working as an Au Pair in Germany. She moved to Exeter in 1996 to work for the West Country Tourist Board, in their marketing department, particularly on overseas promotions. From the Tourist Board she transferred to Exeter City Council, again promoting tourism, before taking a career break to stay at home with her 2 children. Alison began working for APi Communications in 2008 and appreciates combining her work with bringing up her 2 children. Contact Alison here
